Mark Scott

Tag Scott was bassist in the Belfast Gypsies, the Them spinoff group that made an excellent early Them-styled recording, Them Belfast Gypsies, issued in Scandinavia in 1967. The annals from the Belfast Gypsies is indeed complicated that visitors are directed to learn about the music group itself for the entire story. But so far as Scott will go, he was the just guy apart from drummer-keyboardist Pat McAuley who was simply in the group for the entirety of its presence, from about Sept 1965 to November 1966. Scott, whose actual name was Peter Cutchey, was the just English person in the quartet that documented the recording, the additional three users hailing from Belfast. Furthermore to his use the Belfast Gypsies, Scott experienced performed bass on classes, including function for maker Joe Meek and vocalist Adam Faith. Following the breakup from the Belfast Gypsies, he continued to be in music for some time, but then worked well in developing and developing psychedelic lights. He also became thinking about Indian music, beginning to play Indian items on his bass in 1967, and purchasing his 1st sitar five years later on. Having reverted towards the name Peter Cutchey, he ultimately he relocated to the U.S. to function for two professional music and lighting-related businesses in Mississippi and Tx, and he began an Indian device business, Buckingham Music, after obtaining let go. He passed away in July 2002 in Austin, TX, though his widow still operates Buckingham Music.
