Mark O’Leary

b. 1970, Cork, Eire. While learning structures, O’Leary was attracted into music. He previously taken up your guitar and was shortly an eager pupil, eventually evolving his research at Music artists Institute in LA, California. After learning to be a professional musician, his virtuoso technique enticed much interest and he shortly achieved distinction within the related areas of modern jazz and improvised music in addition to making a tag playing Scandinavian folk music. Among performers with whom O’Leary spent some time working and sometimes documented, generally for Leo Information, are pianists Paul Bley, Uri Caine, Matthew Shipp and Bobo Stenson, bass players Palle Danielsson, Anders Jormin and Steve Swallow, drummers Joey Baron, Han Bennink, Costs Bruford, Jack port DeJohnette, Peter Erskine, Pierre Favre, Billy Hart, Günter Müller, Sunny Murray, Ben Perowsky and Randy Peterson, violinist Mat Maneri, trumpeter Kenny Wheeler and multi-instrumentalist Tomasz Stanko.
