Mark Miller

Among Canada’s best jazz critics, Tag Miller continues to be composing for Toronto’s World and Shopping mall since 1978. He provides freelanced for a number of periodicals, including Downbeat, Jazz Community forum and Coda, and was associate editor for the Encyclopedia of Music In Canada in 1982. Nevertheless, his main efforts thus far have already been four books which have done too much to shed lifestyle on Canada’s well-hidden jazz legacy: Music In Canada — Fourteen Lives (1982), Boogie, Pete & The Senator (1987), Great Blues — Charlie Parker In Canada 1953 (1989) and Such Melodious Racquet (1997).
