Mark King

The longtime frontman for the Uk funk-pop group Level 42, Tag King was created in Cowes, Britain, on October 20, 1958. A onetime drummer, upon co-founding Level 42 in 1980 he shifted to the bass, honing a unique thumb-slapping technique which became an intrinsic part of the group’s audio. Using their self-titled 1981 debut onward the quartet loved considerable success in the home, and in 1984 Ruler took periods to record his debut single album, Affects. After Level 42’s worldwide recognition peaked in 1986 using the strike “Something About You,” the music group released some following LPs before disbanding in past due 1994, leaving Ruler to continue his solo actions. The recording One Man adopted four years later on.
