Mark Islam

Created in New Castle, DE, this vocalist/songwriter had 1 early aspiration: to keep his condition. After shifting to Boston College or university to study books, Islam performed and honed his art at different coffeehouses within the Boston region. After completing a master’s level in British, he shifted to LA, the town where the majority of his preferred music originated. Islam became a member of a group of songwriters every month known as the Western Defeat Music Display. In 1995, Islam released his debut work on cassette, The Calloused Center Collection. The musician continuing to execute and got his 1st break from Dr. Laura Schelessinger’s radio display, which featured among Islam’s tracks, “Everything Can be Gonna Become Alright.” In 1998, he released The RECENT TIMES on Noble Savage. He also shifted to Nashville where he starred in stage productions of Locks as well as the Who’s Tommy. Pursuing that, Islam released The SMALL PRINT, a glance at existence in LA. He continues to execute and tour, and considers LA, Nashville, and Australia as house.
