Having appeared in various John Zorn tasks, Feldman was also an associate of Arcado String Trio, with renowned bassist Tag Dresser, and cellists Hank Roberts (in the JMT/Polygram produces) and Ernst Reijseger (in the Avant discharge). He provides toured thoroughly with Pharoah Sanders, trombonist Ray Anderson, and Costs Frisell, and provides produced over 45 jazz albums being a sideman with everyone from Lee Konitz to THEY COULD BE Giants. Once a Nashville studio room musician, he shows up on over 200 recordings, including those of Willie Nelson, Johnny Money, even Television evangelist Jimmy Swaggert. In 1994 and 1995, Feldman was voted “Talent Deserving Wider Identification” by Downbeat Mag. Zorn’s label, Tzadik, released Feldman’s Music for Violin By itself in 1997. 1999 discovered Feldman touring with Charms of the night time Sky, Dave Douglas’ task (released on Wintertime & Wintertime); and playing in the Chromatic Persuaders, a quartet including bassist Lindsay Horner.
