Mark Bennett

A singer/songwriter whose music recalls Dave Matthews and Darius Rucker, Tag Bennett was created in Ireland in 1972, but has appreciated his greatest achievement in European countries. Bennett have been composing and singing music for quite some time when he made a decision to spend a season in Germany in 1994. Bennett enjoyed Germany enough to stay in Dortmund, and he started performing skillfully in 1995. With time, Bennett set up a music group for his concert events, which highlighted Martin Bauer on bass, Gunter Kramer on electric guitar, and Volker “Flocki” Unseld on drums; extra music artists Marc Decker (pipes and whistles), Michael Poelchau (fiddle), and Ruth Bennett (vocals and percussion) frequently join Bennett’s travels as guests. Bennett’s recordings consist of Kiel Hauled, a assortment of Irish folk music; a live record, The Difference; and Seated using the Castaways, a couple of original studio room recordings.
