Award-winning Quebec singer/songwriter Marjolène Morin, stage name Marjo, performed in a set of musicals before joining well-known rock and roll group Corbeau in 1979. She remaining the group soon thereafter to go after a solo profession, earning a Genie award for the theme music for the film La Femme Lhôtel. She released her debut recording, Celle Qui Va, in 1986, accompanied by Tant Qu’il con Aura des Enfants (1990), Bohémienne (1995), Bootleg Blues (1998), Sans Retour (2001), and Turquoise (2005).
