Maritime

Produced from the ashes from the Guarantee Ring as well as the Dismemberment Program, indie rock and roll outfit Maritime emerged by method of Washington, D.C. and Milwaukee. Produced in 2003, Maritime originally highlighted Davey von Bohlen (vocals/electric guitar), Dan Didier (drums), and Eric Axelson (bass). With an earnest pop audio that tapped in to the sandy-toned melodies of Elephant 6 and traditional punk hooks, Maritime released their debut record, Glass Flooring, in 2004. Arriving in 2006, We, the Automobiles marked their initial discharge for the Flameshovel label, and Axelson parted methods with the music group. Their third full-length record, Heresy & the Resort Choir, implemented in 2007 and was the band’s initial to feature brand-new bassist Justin Klug and business lead guitarist Dan Hinz. Four years afterwards, they returned using the album Individual Hearts. In 2015, Maritime shipped their 5th full-length work, Magnetic Systems/Maps of Bone fragments, featuring the one “Satellite Like.”
