Marion Bauer

Bauer studied in Portland, OR, aswell as with Paris and Berlin. Her educators consist of Boulanger and Rothwell. She trained at NY University or college, the Juilliard College, and several additional organizations. She was a regular lecturer at Chautauqua and a devoted supporter of American music. Bauer was a co-founder from the American Music Guild and offered on the table of the Little league of American Composers. She published many content articles for music publications and offered as NY editor from the Musical Innovator. Her compositions are impressionistic with a solid sense of type. Her writings are the publication Twentieth Hundred years Music, (NY, rev. 2/1947).
