Mario Telles

A Brazilian bossa nova singer and lyricist, Mario Telles can be the sibling of the first bossa singer Sylvia Telles, whose existence finished tragically in a vehicle accident in 1966. Significantly less prolific than his sister, Telles so far offers only released an individual LP, the broadly important and self-titled Mario Telles, that was documented in the 1960s and presented beautiful and amazing plans by Moacir Santos, Baden Powell, and Astor Silva. The recording also noticeable the first documenting from the bossa nova regular “Nana,” predicated on a Santos structure known as “Cosia No. 5” retooled with added lyrics compiled by Telles. Still a dynamic performer in Brazil, Telles provides appeared being a visitor on many recordings but so far has not put into his documented legacy being a solo musician. Rev-Ola re-released Telles’ lone record on Compact disc under its first name in 2007.
