Legendary Mariachi Nuevo Tecalitlan was founded in 1965 by brothers Pepe Martínez Barajas and Fernando Martínez Barajas, undertaking tours around Latin America as well as the U.S. immediately after. A second era of musicians joined up with this 12-piece traditional Mexican clothing through the 1980s and 1990s, Fernando Martínez Jr. and Carlos Martínez included in this. In 1997, Fernando Martínez Barajas’ boy, Angel Martínez Arreguin, became their leading member.
