Maria Nazionale

This Italian singer/songwriter and actress was created in Torre Annunziata in 1969. Producing her debut in the popular Festivalbar singing competition in 1986 using the track “Ragazzo Single” (Lonesome Boy), she continued to become popular recording designer. Focusing on Neapolitan pop, between 1993 and 2008 she documented no less than nine albums, and in ’09 2009 proved there is several string to her bow when she received the exclusive David di Donatello Honor for her performing overall performance in Matteo Garrone’s criminal offense theatre film Gomorra. This year 2010 she performed in the Sanremo Music Festival, duetting with Nino d’Angelo within the track “Jammo J? ” (Seriously Let’s Proceed), along with a 12 months later her track “Ragione e Sentimento” (Hearts and Thoughts) featured within the soundtrack from the film Tatanka. In 2013 she came back using the mini-album Libera (Free of charge), heralding the record’s introduction with another appearance at Sanremo, where she performed the tunes “È Colpa Mia” (It’s My Problem) and “Quando Non Parlo” (When I REALLY DO Not Speak).
