An incisive dramatic soprano, Guleghina has attained a busy profession internationally, advancing quickly at leading international operatic venues since her debut in 1987 on the Condition Opera of Minsk. In 1987 she made an appearance in Verdi’s El Ballo in Maschera with Luciano Pavarotti at La Scala, Milan. Her American debut is at 1990, on the Metropolitan in NY as Maddalena in Cilea’s Andrea Chénier. She was asked back again to the Met to sing the name function in Puccini’s Tosca, contrary Plácido Domingo.
