Maria Felix

Child of Bernardo Felix and Josefina Guereña, Mexican Maria Felix began her performing profession in 1942 even though playing a job alongside Jorge Negrete inside a film called Un Peñon de todas las Animas. The talented celebrity and well-known traditional Mexican music vocalist became a global celeb after taking part in 1954’s French Cancan, directed by Jean Renoir. Nicknamed “La Performña” after playing a celebrity part in Performña Barbara, predicated on a publication by Romulo Gallegos, Maria Felix finished her effective cinematographic profession in the first ’70s. In the music field, vocalist/songwriter Agustín Lara made up for her the neighborhood traditional “Maria Bonita.” Remarkably, the Latin diva documented Enamorada in 1998 at age 84.
