Maria Alvim

Brazilian singer Maria Alvim was created in Belo Horizonte and quickly produced a name for herself about the neighborhood scene after considerable voice training. While assisting herself by performing on advertisements, film soundtracks, and studio room classes, Alvim performed at musical gatherings around the united states and finally struck up a collaboration with guitarist Rick Udler. The duo performed around Brazil, frequently with percussionist João Parahyba (from 1993), among various composition tasks for Udler. In 1998, Udler and Alvim documented their debut recording, Rhythm and Love, for Malandro Information.
