Marcus Marr

Affected by classic soul, rock and roll, disco, and acid home, London-based producer and DJ Marcus Marr makes spacy, starry dance music, often including percolating synths, funky bass guitar, and vocals. His 1st launch was the 2010 solitary “Well Alright.” Around once, he sang on Toby Tobias’ YOU UNDERSTAND EP, and remixed tunes by Bottin aswell as DFA-signed performers Woolfy and Shit Automatic robot. DFA released Marr’s “The Music” in 2013, as well as the solitary received acclaim, especially from Spin, who called it one of the better dance songs of the entire year. Pursuing Marr’s remix of Röyksopp and Robyn’s “Monument Dance,” released in 2014, DFA released Marr’s “Dark brown Sauce” in early 2015, generating additional acclaim. Marr after that collaborated with Chet Faker (Nick Murphy) on the four-song EP entitled Function, which yielded two strike singles, “Birthday Cards” and “THE DIFFICULTY around.” Marr’s single one “Rocketship” premiered by DFA in 2016.
