Biography

British isles conductor Marcus Creed has spent the majority of his career in Germany dealing with a few of its many esteemed choral and instrumental ensembles, so when a professor on the Musikhochschule in Köln. He provides documented prolifically, and his passions embrace a spectral range of music which includes composers as different as Bach, Handel, Mozart, Schubert, Rossini, Berlioz, Mendelssohn, Bruckner, Ives, Rachmaninov, Vaughan Williams, Stockhausen, Messiaen, Kurtág, Rihm, and Carter, within the areas of choral music, oratorio, opera, chamber music, and orchestral music. Creed was informed at King’s University in Cambridge, Christ Cathedral in Oxford, as well as the Guildhall College in London. He transferred to Berlin within the middle-’70s, where he offered as vocal trainer and chorus get good at on the Deutsche Oper, and participated in a number of chamber music ensembles. Furthermore to his regular positions, he provides participated in a number of celebrations, including Salzburg, Innsbruck, Lucerne, Edinburgh, the Venice Biennale, and Wein Contemporary.
