Marconi Union

Marconi Union may be the name of the Manchester, Britain trio — comprising Jamie Crossley, Richard Talbot, and Duncan Meadows — whose music combines downtempo and experimental ambient. Originally a duo of Crossley and Talbot, their self-produced debut recording, 2003’s Under Cable and Searchlights, was released on Ochre Information. Authorized in 2005 to all or any Saints Records, these were appointed by Brian Eno to supervise the remastering of his back again catalog. They adopted with a launch on All Saints, Range, which arrived in European countries in Oct 2005 (and within the U.S. in Feb of another 12 months). A Shed Connection made an appearance on MU Transmissions in 2008, and something year later on, the group’s 4th album (Tokyo) made an appearance on their 4th label (Binemusic). In 2011, Marconi Union obtained popularity for collaborating using the English Academy of Audio Therapy around the track “Weightless,” intended to help reduce individuals’ stress (and heart prices). In addition they began some albums in a string known as Ambient Transmissions: quantity one (Beautifully Falling Aside) made an appearance in 2011, accompanied by quantity two (Weightless) in 2012. Also showing up that 12 months was Different Colors, the first ever to feature Duncan Meadows.
