Márcio Montarroyos

Márcio Montarroyos is among the most significant Brazilian trumpeters. Incredibly active because the ’70s being a program man to get a who’s who of Brazilian well-known performers, he coined a recognizable audio within the dawn of studio room audio manipulation with cascading echoes. At top performers he has used include Stevie Question, Sérgio Mendes, Sarah Vaughan, Hermeto Pascoal, Nancy Wilson, Egberto Gismonti, Carlos Santana, Milton Nascimento, Ella Fitzgerald, Tom Jobim, and Ney Matogrosso. He also writes soundtracks for movie theater and Television, both in Brazil and overseas. Montarroyos was the arranger for the Brazilian music of the Moon Over Parador film. His worldwide performances consist of Japan, Germany, Portugal and Switzerland.
