Marcio Mattos

Marcio Mattos has performed as cellist and twice bassist in a number of recordings and concerts of improvised and songs because the 1970s. Mattos analyzed classical guitar during his early teenagers, but turned to his current devices after becoming thinking about jazz. He was primarily self-taught until he came into the Villa-Lobos institute, where he 1st began his participation with improvised and digital music. Mattos relocated to European countries in 1970, and since spent some time working with Evan Parker, Derek Bailey’s Organization, Marilyn Crispell, Dewey Redman, Georg Graewe, Chris Burn off, John Butcher and so many more. He spent some time working with dance businesses, like the Extemporary Dance Theater Organization, and Ballet Rambert, and functions and exhibits like a ceramic designer (he was qualified at Goldsmiths University). Ongoing tasks Mattos continues to be involved in consist of: Tony Oxley’s Special event Orchestra, Eddie Provost Quartet, AXON with Phil Minton and Martin Blume, electro-acoustic music organizations like the Western world Square Digital Music Ensemble, so when a duo with shakuhachi participant Shiku Yano.
