Marc Plainguet

A pioneer of Christian commercial music who also uses components of dance, folk, punk and salsa, Marc Plainguet has released 14 albums since 1986 (11 as himself, two as Device and one as Graveyard Cafe). His 1st music group was Nutty Trust, shaped in 1985 with Mike Futch. The duo released It’s Our Work! on Futch’s Strategy 7 label. Plainguet and Futch added Shaka the next yr and became Crazed Bunnyz, a punk music group with synthesized bass and drums. Uninterested in life inside a music group, Marc Plainguet released the single cassette Amebas in Like and, after Crazed Bunnyz split up, Globe Press and Demovision. All three made an appearance in 1986 by himself Corpqii label. Plainguet’s 1st release as Device was Joyful Noize in 1987, the same 12 months he issued Bloodstream & Open fire as himself. Between Gadget’s 1st and second produces (Gnashing of Tooth), he released Protection Shelter (1988) a self-titled recording (1989), Surrealism for Newbies (1989), Pet cats Welcome You House (1989) and Unusual Stories (1990). His following three releases, documented as Marc Plainguet, had been Security Shelter Wish, Surrealism for Newbies and Strange Stories. Electric Campfire Tunes and Live at Cornerstone ’90 both made an appearance in 1991, and Plainguet released New Floor as Graveyard Cafe another year.
