Marc Beacco

Establishing wordless scat performing towards the improvisations of jazz music artists, Marc Beacco has generated a unique method of vocalizing. His 1995 recording, Scampi Fritti, was a groundbreaking cooperation with American and Western jazz music artists including Michael and Randy Brecker, trombonist Jim Pugh, and bassist Neils Henning-Olersted Pederson. Toto guitarist Steve Lukather praised Beacco for “merging the high-tech vocal methods from the 1980s and ’90s a cappella performers with visitor instrumental soloists.”
