Maranatha Music is a Christian music label that emerged within the ministry of Chuck Smith’s Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa, California. It produces Christian-themed music which range from rock and roll and nation to traditional hymns. Chuck Smith founded Maranatha Music in 1971 as on wall plug for the music becoming written by young people of Calvary Chapel. The label released albums by a number of performers in the years that adopted and received an eternity Achievement Award through the Gospel Music Association in 1991. Maranatha Music’s Best 25 Acoustic Worship Tracks 2017 album premiered in Apr 2017.
