Manna Dey

Manna Dey (created: Prabodhchandria Dey) is among India’s most influential vocalists. The nephew of vocalist and celebrity of India’s New Theatre, K. C. Dey, Dey offers successfully well balanced fast tunes, passionate ballads and solemn hymns. Although his deep tone of voice avoided him from securing business lead tasks in theatrical shows, Bey has tested himself an exceptionally eclectic vocalist. Dey was raised singing Baul tracks, Rabindra-sangeet and Khayyal. A graduate of Vidyasagar University in Calcutta, Dey elected to spend his attentions to performing rather accepting a profession as a lawyer.
