Fusing spirit, pop, and electro with Gallic rock and roll, Mani certainly are a French quintet fronted with the tone of voice behind one of the primary dance anthems from the 2000s. Called after lead vocalist Mani Hoffman, who made an appearance for the Supermen Fans’ 2001 smash “Starlight” and Jealousy’s 2006 strike “Lucy,” aswell as composing the soundtrack for Frederic Berthe’s 2009 humor RTT, the music group shaped in 2007. Supported by guitarist Pierre-Arnaud Crespeau, bassist Ben Durand, keyboardist Antoine Le Guern, and drummer Stanislas Augris, Hoffman originally made a decision to indication his new clothing to his previous songwriting partner and ex-Jamiroquai member Toby Smith’s Angelic Union label, but pursuing disagreements over their musical path, the group still left to become listed on fan-funding effort My Major Business instead. Made by Tiery F (Estelle) and Veronica Ferraro (Ben l’Oncle Spirit), their debut record, Heroes of Today, premiered in 2012.
