An early on 1960’s dance outfit from your Western Indies, Mango Jones and His Orchestra were documented by Vee Jay records through the preliminary Ska boom of the first 1960’s, in colaboration with the Harry Ballu Singers. In those times, Ska was defined as a dance tempo rather than make of music, as well as the band’s audio is more common than a large amount of additional material often defined as Ska. However they have there been, and on record, virtually before other people. The destiny of Mango Jones, Harry Ballu et al continues to be a secret, but we want them well wherever they may be.
