Manel Camp

Inspired with the Catalan Novo Canco movement from the 1950s, Manel Camp is certainly among Spain’s most achieved contemporary pianists/composers. Delivered in Barcelona in 1947, his music profession started with Fusioon, the prog rock and roll outfit he produced with his sibling Jordi, who released three albums before splitting in the middle-’70s. After collaborations with traditional pianist Ludovica Mosca and percussionist Santi Arisa, he documented his debut single record, Poesia Secreta, in 1985, which kick-started a prolific result which has included soundtracks for the musicals Un Retaule de la Llum, Mes Enlla del Bosc, and Canigo con Fades; scores for many films, chamber functions, and ballets; and agreements for famous brands Llúis certainly Llach, Maria del Mar Bonet, and Joan Isaac. A continuing presence in the worldwide celebration circuit, Camp in addition has recently turn into a instructor of jazz and contemporary music at L’Escola Excellent de Musica de Catalunya.
