Mandrácula

Chilean blues-rock music group Mandrácula was shaped whenever a group called Banda del Capitán Corneta disbanded following recording its debut album Perros Dias, that was released by regional label Alerce in 1994. 2 yrs later, Mandrácula registered to BMG, issuing an EP known as Estoy Llegando Muy Cerca. After shifting to Alerce, the group documented a self-titled record in 1998. That same season, they were honored for Best Rock and roll Performance with the Chilean Songwriters Association (SCD). Mandrácula produced its debut at MTV Latino using the video for “Buenos Muchachos,” aimed by Alfredo Silva.
