Mammoth Storm

The brainchild of Draconian guitarist Daniel Arvidsson, Sweden’s Mammoth Surprise focus on a brutal amalgamation of doom, psych, drone, and stoner metal that invokes brands like Mastodon, Dark Sabbath, Property of Nod, and Electric powered Wizard. Shaped in 2012, the trio features Arvidsson on bass and vocals, guitarist Christer Ström, and drummer Emil Ahlman, the last mentioned of whom also supplies the periodic organ component. The music group self-released their debut EP, Rite of Ascension, in 2014 before inking a cope with Napalm Information. Mammoth Storm’s full-length studio room debut, Fornjot, lowered the following season.
