Malombo

Malombo may be the longest-lasting group in South Africa. Shaped in the first ’60s because the Malombo Jazz Males, Malombo is constantly on the explore the options of fusing the musical customs of South Africa using the improvisation of jazz. As the group primarily focused around flute participant Abe Cindi and percussionist Julian Bahula, they experienced a significant change with the help of guitarist Dr. Philip Nchipi Tabane. Under Tabane’s management, Malombo became a mating floor for great music artists and singers, presenting Mabe Thobejane, Raymond Motau, Oupa Monareng, Gabriel Thobehane, and Beki Mseleku.
