Male Gaze

The San Francisco-based indie rock group Man Gaze looks back again to the darker side of new wave for inspiration, with liberal levels of jangle pop, gnarly psychedelia, and post-punk angularity in the mix aswell. Shaped by guitarist/vocalist Matt Jones, previously of Blasted Canyons, the lineup was curved out by bassist Tag Kaiser (ex-Mayyors) and drummer Adam Cimino (ex-the Shopping mall). The music group authorized to Castle Encounter, where Jones assists run issues, and released Gale Maze, a seven music mini-LP, in early 2015. For the saving of the 1st full-length, the trio added previous Blasted Canyons/Tiaras guitarist Adam Finken and setup shop with maker Chris Woodhouse. The ensuing album, Ruler Leer, was released by Castle Encounter in June of 2016.
