Maldita Vecindad

Latin rockers Maldita Vecindad con Los Hijos del Quinto Deck formed in Mexico Town in 1985; composed of vocalist Roco, guitarists Un Pato and Sax, bassist Aldo and drummer Pacho, the group debuted in 1988 having a self-titled LP which gained acclaim because of its fusion of rock and roll, ska and Mexican folk noises. El Circo, broadly considered a vintage in “rock and roll en Espanol” circles, adopted in 1991, offering a fantastic 600,000 in Maldita Vecindad’s indigenous land; around once, they made an appearance in Present, a film aimed by Jane’s Addiction’s Perry Farrell. Following a live LP, Gira Pata de Perro, the group documented a 1994 LP with maker Expenses Laswell which continues to be unreleased; rather, they resurfaced 2 yrs later on with Baile de Mascaras, adopted in 1998 by Mostros.
