Makana

Hawaiian slack crucial guitarist Makana was created about the island of Oahu. He started singing at age seven. At nine, he used the ukulele, adding the slack essential acoustic guitar when he was 11 and learning with Sonny Chillingworth. He previously already flipped professional by age 14. His debut recording, Makana, premiered in 1999; it earned the Best Globe Music Recording Award in the Hawaii Music Honours. It was accompanied by Koi Au in 2002 and Ki Ho’alu: Trip of Hawaiian Slack Type in 2003. In 2006, Makana added to the Grammy-nominated recording Hawaiian Slack Crucial Kings.
