Maines Brothers Band

The Maines Brothers Music group began recording in the mid-’70s. Their lineup included acoustic guitarist/vocalist Steve Maines; Lloyd Maines on metal guitar, lead acoustic guitar and Hawaiian acoustic guitar; guitarist/harmonica participant Kenny Maines; drummer Donnie Maines (changed in 1987 by Tag Gillespie); fiddler/trumpeter/mandolin participant Richard Bowden; bass guitarist Jerry Brownlow; and Cary Banking institutions on keyboards and acoustic guitar. The initial Maines Brothers Music group hailed from Western Texas and presented the group’s dad and uncles; younger males in the beginning performed as the tiny Maines Brothers Band. Lloyd used the Joe Ely Music group for six years and five albums, while Kenny got a gig in NEVADA and Donnie used the Tommy Lee Display, a local music group. The group reformed in 1977 with Bowden and Brownlow. Banking institutions, a mentioned songwriter, became a member of the group full-time in 1983 after seated along with them on / off. The band documented its 1st four albums independently Texas Spirit label, and obtained popularity through the entire Southwest. Several main Nashville labels contacted the music group, and in 1983, they authorized to Mercury.
