The acoustic duo of Mexican jazz vocalist Magos Herrera and Spanish Flamenco guitarist Javier Limón made their debut in 2014 using the album Dawn, a richly nuanced assortment of American and Latin jazz standards. Ahead of their cooperation, Herrera was structured out of Mexico Town where she was well known among the country’s top jazz vocalists. After relocating to NY, she fulfilled up with the Madrid-based Limón, a multiple Grammy-winning guitarist, manufacturer, and composer who spent some time working with performers like Caetano Veloso, Wynton Marsalis, and Paco de Lucia.
