Magnetic Man

Magnetic Man were shaped in 2007 by dubstep producer/DJs Artwork, Benga, and Skream. They initial appeared on a set of industrial mixes released in 2007: Dubstep Allstars, Vol. 5, blended by N-Type, and Wash: 01, blended by Geeneus. The next season, “Ligma VIP” made an appearance on Mary Anne Hobbs’ Evangeline compilation. Their 1st official launch was this year’s 2009 12″ “The Cyberman,” an amazingly stripped-down A-side. Soon thereafter, the trio authorized a major-label cope with Columbia, which released a self-titled recording this year 2010. It displayed a convergence of dubstep and mainstream golf club music, with smooth surfaces built for famous brands John Story, Ms. Dynamite, and Katy B, most of whom offered vocals. Much towards the dismay of some dubstep purists, among the singles, “I Want Air flow,” reached the U.K. TOP.
