Maggie Sansone

Traditional Celtic stylist Maggie Sansone was the daughter of the jazz pianist who every year gave his daughter a fresh drum at Xmas; a versatile skill who mastered from your guitar to piano to bassoon, she discovered her true phoning as a grown-up, finding the hammered dulcimer. Upon developing her personal label, Maggie’s Music, Sansone released her debut LP, Hammered Dulcimer Customs, in 1987; furthermore to following recordings including 1990’s Mist and Rock, 1994’s Dance Upon the Shoreline, 1998’s A Traveler’s Desire: Celtic Explorations, 2001’s Celtic Meditations: In to the Light, 2004’s Mystic Dance: A Celtic Special event, 2007’s A Celtic Good, and 2010’s Blowing wind Drift: Celtic Grooves, Mystic Moods, she’s also authored some music books for Mel Bay Magazines.
