Although not popular nationally, Maggie Galloway can be an expressive vocalist that has acquired a little following singing jazz around Boston within the 1980s and 1990s. Galloway, whose affects consist of Sarah Vaughan and Nancy Wilson, was created in Flint, MI and was raised in close by Flushing. The vocalist was first subjected to jazz in 1976, when she was an 18-year-old music college student at the University or college of Michigan. In 1979, she relocated to Boston to wait the exclusive Berklee University Of Music, and in 1981, Downbeat Publication offered Galloway its DeeBee Honor for best college student vocalist.
