Maelo Ruiz

Ismael Ruiz Hernandez, often called Maelo, was created Oct 22, 1966, in NY. Four years afterwards he and his family members relocated back again to their indigenous Puerto Rico. Often a fan of music, Maelo started his formal education at age 16, performing at La Escuela Libre de Musica de Caguas beneath the path of Juan Pacheco. 3 years afterwards, at age 19, Maelo started his professional profession as the business lead vocalist for Pedro Conga con Su Orquesta Internacional. In the seven years he spent under Pedro Conga’s path, Ruiz documented four records, like the strike “No Te Quites la Ropa,” which continued to sell much better than 50,000 products. Salsa favorites like “Quiero Volver,” “Si Supieras,” and “Me Niegas Tanto Amor” gained Ruiz gold information in Colombia and Puerto Rico, but moreover, recognition all around the salsa-listening globe. Ruiz’s first discharge of his very own, entitled Single, spent four direct weeks at number 1 throughout Latin America. In 1995, the tune “Rumba de Oro” gained Ruiz the name of Greatest Salsero in Ecuador and Peru. His second creation, Experiencia, won enthusiasts in Mexico as well as the southwestern U.S., while his third discharge, entitled Maelo Ruiz, extended his group of fans further, earning the hearts of salsa fans all over European countries. In 2003, Maelo agreed upon with the 3rd party label Codiscos. Ruiz provides since released two information on that label, Otra Vez Maelo and Regálame una Noche.
