Madi Diaz

L.A.-structured singer/songwriter Madi Diaz spent her formative years balancing the disparate worlds of her indigenous Pennsylvania Amish country and Boston’s renowned Berklee College of Music. Elevated and home-schooled by her liberal musician parents, Diaz, who spent her years as a child immersed in books, music, and horses, started composing at age 16 following the family members relocated to close by Philadelphia. It had been there that Diaz attained minor celebrity position among the even more precocious and participating students in movie director Don Argott’s strike 2005 documentary about the Paul Green College of Rock and roll Music. While participating in Berklee, Diaz spent amount of time in the indie rock and roll outfit Chat Radio before getting into a solo profession in 2006. By using manufacturer Frank Charlton and documenting engineer Martin Cooke, a small number of the school’s greatest musicians (most of whom would ultimately join Diaz on the highway) had been recruited to record her 2007 debut record, Skin and Bone tissue. A set of EPs, Ten Weapon Salute and Definately not things that We Know, found its way to 2009 and 2011, respectively, and had been followed by a set of full-lengths, Plastic material Moon and We Threw Our Hearts in the Open fire, in 2012. Her 4th long-player, Phantom, premiered in Sept 2014. Diaz has already established her songs come in numerous tv shows, including Nashville, Pretty Small Liars, and Military Wives.
