The four-man Dallas crew Mad Flava were short players within the middle-’90s “weed-hop” scene that followed the breakout success of Cypress Hill. Made up of MCs Frosty Chris the Soulman (true name: Chris Parker) and Don Kasaan, DJ Baby G the Cut Selectah, and manufacturer/MC Erich “Buzz Dawg” Krause, Mad Flava procured a cope with Concern Information after upping their profile with support gigs throughout Tx for established performers like KRS-One, A Tribe Known as Goal, and Cypress Hill themselves.
