Mackie Conscious

b. Dennis McKay, 23 Sept 1969, Montego Bay, Jamaica, Western world Indies. When he was simply 10 years previous Mackie began to emulate Michael Jackson and performed in college concerts. By his twelfth birthday he previously learned to try out the guitar as well as the piano, but his initial function was as the bass participant in an area gospel music group. He used the ensemble on the part-time basis while he pursued a profession in accounting. Having experienced in accountancy he found that owing to financial complications in Jamaica the work opportunities had been limited. This resulted in him learning to be a taxi cab driver instead. Then opted to execute on the resort circuit in the North Coastline. Mackie produced his own music group the Rebel Raiders (shortened afterwards towards the Raiders) and guaranteed a residency at the favorite Sandals holiday resort in Ocho Rios. By 1997 Mackie got begun composing his own materials like the radio strikes, ‘Never Provide Up’, ‘Who Can be Your Friend’, ‘Cash And Power’, ‘Don’t Blame Me’, ‘Understand Each Additional’ and ‘What If’. He backed several international performers including, Jay-Z, Shaggy, Gregory Isaacs, Fifty percent Pint, the Mighty Gemstones, Mr. Vegas and Yellowman. Mackie Conscious taken care of his profile in the brand new millennium with additional releases, ‘Mad Globe’ and ‘Overtime’.
