Mack Avenue Superband can be an random ensemble made up of various performers for the Mack Avenue record label roster. Assembled annual to coincide using the Detroit Jazz Festival, the Mack Avenue Superband provides featured such music artists as trumpeter Sean Jones, guitarist Evan Perri, saxophonist Kirk Whalum, pianist Aaron Diehl, yet others. Beginning in 2012, the group started launching live recordings of their Detroit Jazz Celebration performances.
