The electronic pop duo M+A hail from the city of Forli in Italy. Produced by Michele Ducci, who holders vocals and equipment, and Alessandro Degli Angioli, also on equipment, the duo make a sunnily glitchy pop that’s influenced equally with the techno of Planks of Canada as well as the fractured pop of Panda Keep. Their first record, Factors.Yes, was recorded in the home during 2011 and released in November with the U.K. label Monotreme. The duo came back in 2013 using their second record, NOWADAYS, which featured a far more organic, band-oriented sound and an augmented lineup that added drummer Marco Frattini.
