Ma Ja Le

Ma Ja Le includes guitarist/flutist Christopher Brief and percussionist/vocalist Paul Vnuk. They released their initial disk, Dreams in the Orchards of Saturn, in 1995 and curiously, culled all of the material in the initial four concert events they ever performed. After 3 years, they teamed up with Vir Unis to create Imaginarium, followed another year with the limited-edition Oscillations. In 2000 they teamed with minimalist composer Adam Johnson for some concerts and another limited-edition disk, Live Under a Harvest Moon. They teamed with Johnson once again the next season, for the uncharacteristically erotic Seed, that was the initial widely released record they had produced since 1998.
