Biography

Named honoring their high-school football group, the self-described “hip-hop-no-wave” unit Lynnfield Pioneers had been made up of singer/Moog manipulator Dan Make, guitarist Mike Janson, and drummer John Paul Jones. Produced in 1995, the Pioneers shortly debuted using the Newport EP released with the Lampshop label; some singles followed, gaining them a solid underground hype that resulted in their putting your signature on with Matador, which released the trio’s first full-length, emerge, in 1997. Free of charge Popcorn implemented in 1999.
