Luxuria

Luxuria was a duo comprising past Buzzcocks and Publication vocalist/songwriter Howard Devoto and Noko. Devoto started dealing with the Liverpool musician a couple of years after the launch of his single album, Jerky Variations of the Desire. The duo ultimately released two albums on Beggars Banquet, which ranged from sparse acoustic accompaniment to included dance beats. Unanswerable Lust premiered in 1988 to lukewarm reception, adopted two years later on from the improved Beast Package. Several singles had been released off each record to small influence on the U.K. graphs. Soon after the duo break up, a Japanese package set was released, merging both CDs having a VHS made up of videos for every song from Beast Package.
