Biography
Led by vocalists Anna Christine and Erie Loch, the five-piece Luxt features both guitar-bass-drums instrumentation and much dose of keyboards, electronic coding, and sound digesting, creating a sound not in contrast to the greater Gothic components of 9 Inch Nails, using a similarly dark build towards the material. The music group made its documenting debut adding a cover of Gary Numan’s “Vehicles” towards the 1997 compilation Newer Influx; its debut full-length, Disrepair, implemented later in the entire year. The follow-up, Razing Eden, premiered in 1998, displaying a stronger feeling of songcraft, that was continuing by 2000’s Chromasex Monkeydrive. They continuing to boost with each discharge, with 2003’s American Beast marking their finest combination of commercial rock and roll and nü steel.
