Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald

A chart-topping songwriter and manufacturer, Dr. Luke was created Lukasz Gottwald in 1973 in Providence, RI. He was raised in NEW YORK and went to the Manhattan College of Music until 1997, when he arrived a gig using the Sunday Night Live tv show’s house music group. He spent a decade with the music group on lead electric guitar, sometimes moonlighting as manufacturer to underground hip-hop performers like Black Superstar and KRS-One. The introduction of a professional romantic relationship with producer Utmost Martin would steer Luke toward the globe of pop, and in 2004 both would co-write and co-produce two large strikes for Kelly Clarkson, “Since U Been Eliminated” and “Behind These Hazel Eye.” In 2006 his focus on the singles “Who Knew” and “U + Ur Hands” would help P!nk’s record I’m Not Deceased go platinum, whilst in 2007 his cooperation with Avril Lavigne would bring about the worldwide number 1 hit “Partner.” In 2008 he was the person behind massive strikes want “About You Today” with the Sugababes and “We Kissed a Female” and “Hot ‘n’ Cool,” the last mentioned two by Katy Perry. In ’09 2009 he and rapper Flo Rida topped the graphs with “Best Circular,” while Kelly Clarkson gained her initial U.K. number 1 single using the Dr. Luke co-production “My Lifestyle Would Suck Without You.” Miley Cyrus’ “Party within the U.S.A.” and Kesha’s “Tik Tok” had been other 2009 strikes with Dr. Luke’s participation, while 2010 noticed him focus on Katy Perry’s “California Gurls” and “Teenage Fantasy” plus Taio Cruz’s strike “Dynamite.”
